What we collect
When you create a temporary inbox, we process the mailbox address, session identifier, expiry time, incoming message metadata, and message content needed to show your inbox. We also receive standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, request path, and abuse-control events.
How mailbox access works
Mailbox sessions stay on our servers and are linked to an HttpOnly cookie. We do not expose Center credentials or mailbox session tokens to browser JavaScript. Anyone with access to your browser session may still view the temporary inbox until it expires or is replaced.
Retention and deletion
Temporary mailboxes and messages are short-lived. They may expire, be deleted, or become unavailable without notice. Do not use Maily.ee for records you must keep, accounts you must recover, or legally sensitive communications.
Cookies and security
We use essential cookies to keep the active mailbox connected to your browser and to protect abuse boundaries. We may apply rate limits, block suspicious traffic, and remove mailboxes or messages that appear abusive, unlawful, or harmful.
